ABOUT MOAB MINERALS
Moab Minerals (ASX:MOM) is a company focused on the exploration and development of the REX Uranium-Vanadium Project located in the famed Uravan Mineral Belt of Colorado.
The project is 60% owned by Moab Minerals and contains many historic uranium mines including, Blackfoot/Rattlesnake, Wedge, Merry Widow, Sunbeam and Vanadium King that have not been subject to exploration since the 1970’s, other than initial sampling by MOM.
The company aims to further explore REX through a targeted exploration program.
The Company also holds the Speedway Gold Project in Western Utah, the Highline Copper-Cobalt Project in Southern Nevada, as well as The Woodlands and Mt Amy Project in Western Australia
moab acquires stake in Tanzanian uranium projects
Moab Minerals Limited (ASX:MOM) is an exploration and project development company.
On the 8th July 2024 the Company announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Katika Resources Ltd (Tanzanian company) that holds the Manyoni and Octavo uranium projects in Tanzania.The advanced Manyoni project was previously extensively explored by ASX listed Uranex Ltd from the early 2000’s until 2013. Refer to the Company’s ASX announcement date 12 March 2024 for details of historic exploration and drilling at Manyoni. The Octavo uranium project is adjacent to Rosatom’s world class Nyota Uranium Deposit (formerly ASX listed Mantra Resources Ltd; A$1.02bn takeover in 2011).
Moab is committed to expediting exploration and development efforts across the Manyoni and Octavo projects.
Exploration and development across the world
The Company is currently exploring the REX Uranium-Vanadium Project located in the famed Uravan Mineral Belt of Colorado. The project is 60% owned by Moab and contains many historic uranium mines including, Blackfoot/Rattlesnake, Wedge, Merry Widow, Sunbeam, and Vanadium King that have not been subject to exploration since the 1970’s, other than initial sampling by MOM. The Company aims to further explore REX through a targeted exploration program.
In June 2023 Moab acquired an initial 14.64% interest in CAA Mining, an exploration and development company focused on lithium and gold exploration in Ghana, Africa, providing Moab shareholders with an interest in three lithium projects that are complementary to its existing assets, expanding its business as a junior exploration company. The Company has also holds the Highline Copper-Cobalt Project in Southern Nevada, as well as the Woodlands Project in Western Australia.
